Mussoorie is one of the most popular hill stations in Uttaranchal, India. From British age Mussoorie known as “Queen of Hills” and famous as honeymoon and summer vacation destination of North India. A beautiful fall called Kampaty fall, ropeway to gun hill and municipal Gardens increased the beauty of Mussorie and the big attraction for the visitors. Mussorie is surrounded by snow caped mountains and hills. One can see the sacred river Ganga on one end of the ridge and river Yamuna on the other point.

A caption of British Army Caption Young was very much attracted by the beauty of Mussoorie and decided to stay here. He has renowned as a founder of Mussorie.

Now Mussoorie most preferred hill stations of Uttarakhand, North India and it is also biggest hunt for world education or business as well as for tourism.

What to visit-

Kampty Fall-
 located 15 km from Mussoorie on the way to Deharadun a beautiful  water fall. The water falls from 40 ft and attracts a large number of tourists every year.
Gun Hill- 
One can enjoy ropeway ride from mall road to Gun hill or for trekking lovers it is only few minutes trek from Mussoorie. Gun hill contains a massive view of Great Himalyan range and Banderpunch, Pithwara, Shrikanta and Gangotri group and a view of Mussoorie and Doon Vally. In ruling period of British Government a gun fired on the top of Gun hill to inform people about the time.
Camel Back Road- As the name of road implies there is rock which called Camel rock due to its similarity with camel’s hump. It is popular for sunset, horse riding and walking along the road.

Municipal Garden- Popular picnic spot with an artificial mini lake and gardens. It situated only 3 km from mall road.
Mussorie is very well connected to dehradun, Tehri with bus services, otherwise jeep, taxis are easily available there.
For shopping - walking sticks, sweaters, hand-knit cardigans and cane baskets
What to do: Skating, trekking and camping, horse riding, mountain biking, walking along roads, ropeway ride
